The folks at PornPosse.com said they had a single goal in mind when they launched ClickTruth.com: to prevent shaving.
The Porn Posse has been in involved in the online adult entertainment industry since 1999 as a third-party service provider. Their stated goal is to provide the most technically advanced solutions for adult Webmasters to increase revenues, audit traffic, cut operating expenses and increase their membership base. ClickTruth.com is their latest creation.
Through a process of installed scripts, credit card post-back data, and redirected traffic, Porn Posse said, ClickTruth.com is able to confirm that Webmasters are getting credit for every sale their traffic generates. ClickTruth Third Party Stats Auditing Service recently finished its first round of integration with Flashcash.com, PornKings.com, and PornIsBad.com.
"Inspiration for ClickTruth was created by the fact that there is a monitoring entity in almost every other industry in the world, and if any industry needed a third party to monitor it, it is the adult entertainment industry," Porn Posse CEO Johnny V told AVN.com. "The Porn Posse has been in the business of assisting Webmasters to make more money and save more money for four years. ClickTruth was a natural extension of what we already do."
By registering their affiliate IDs at www.clicktruth.com, a Webmaster is put on a master list that is shared with each participating affiliate program. Porn Posse said they want the Webmaster to sleep better knowing his traffic is being audited and could be tested by the Porn Posse at any time. Their motto is, "No longer does a Webmaster have to be content with taking people's word."
V said that several sponsor programs have been quietly using the free service ("You have to pay for the installation time of our programmers, to put it onto your system and a day or so of testing") for months. PornPosse is currently installing ClickTruth on additional sponsor programs.
"When every slow sales period generates accusations of shaving from under-performing Webmasters, it is nice for a sponsor program to defer to a third party to calm the hysteria," added V. "When it becomes a my-word-against-yours situation, it's tough to find resolution. ClickTruth allows program owners to stop worrying about disgruntled accusations and focus on making money for themselves and their Webmasters."
