The nominees are in for the 2004 Empire Awards, founded by two-time AVN Award winners Adult DVD Empire to recognize the best in Adult DVD production.
The Masseuse, Bella Loves Jenna, Millionaire, and Eye of the Beholder have multiple nominations, among a field of contenders vying for awards for Best Overall DVD, Best Feature DVD, Best All-Sex DVD, Best Interactive DVD, Best Gonzo DVD, Best Foreign DVD, Best Classic DVD, Best Fetish DVD, Best DVD Extras, Best DVD Menu Design, Best DVD Video Quality, Best DVD Commentary, Best DVD Audio Quality, Best Compilation DVD (Studio), and Best Overall DVD (Studio).
The Empire's editorial staffers pick the nominees, with the winners decided by votes from the Empire's staff of in-house and external reviewers, picking from Adult DVDs released between December 1, 2003 and December 1, 2004. Titles that get both critical acclaim and big sales performances are considered for the awards, the company said.
You can be part of it, too, if you visit the Empire Awards Website and take advantage of the chance to vote for the Viewer's Choice Award, beginning February 4 and ending February 28. The winners will be announced in March.
