The AVN Online Interview: Lindy Foxx

Stunning. That's how I describe Lindy Foxx to friends, family, and the occasional stranger seated next to me at Starbucks. Blessed with a dazzling smile, sexy bravado, picture-perfect figure, and a sensuous gaze sure to melt your heart, Foxx reigns as one of the Web's most gorgeous models. Cyberspace is flooded with photos of her, and rightfully so; one look at this brunette siren and you'll be "Google-ing" till the wee small hours of the morning.

There's talk Foxx might soon leave the modeling game for new pursuits. Could this possibly be her final interview? If so, we couldn't be more delighted that it's with us. So, until further notice, enjoy a little March madness with Lindy Foxx.

AVN Online: How long have you been modeling?

Lindy Foxx: If you count the stuff I did when I was a kid, a long time. But I've only been nude modeling for two or three years.

AO: Do you remember the first time you posed nude for the camera?

LF: I was a dancer before I started modeling, so I was pretty used to being naked in front of people. But yes, it was for Digital Dream Girls, and it was absolutely exhausting. They were great, but I wasn't used to posing for eight hours a day. The naked part didn't freak me out; I was more worried about the expressions on my face, even though I'm sure that's not what everybody else was looking at [laughs]. I tend to show my true feelings through my facial expressions, and I was so tired and frustrated.

AO: You've mentioned leaving modeling. Any reason for the career change?

LF: I never considered modeling a career, I really just wanted some cute pictures of myself so I could look back when I'm old and gray and remember that I used to be sexy. I'm ready to leave because I just graduated from college, I'm going on to graduate school next semester, and eventually I plan on teaching at the high school level and it's not really appropriate to be a porn star teacher. I don't have any regrets about posing naked. I actually had a lot of fun, but there are still so many close-minded people who would crucify me for it.

AO: I read in your bio that what you really want to is "to be a mom."

LF: Yes, it's true. I grew up an only child and although I had a great childhood, I feel like I missed out on the whole "big family" thing. So, if financially possible, I would love to have at least three kids. Not right now, though. Right now I still like partying too much.

AO: If you leave the business what would become of your Website?

LF: My Website is coming down. I have other means, luckily, of supporting myself. It was just something I wanted to try, but truthfully I'm too lazy to stick with it. I'm amazed by all the other women in this business. They really have ambition. To be a successful model is a lot of work. You need to be driving around all the time, going on promotions, blah, blah. I'm too much of a pothead for all that [laughs].

AO: Would you say that your experience as a model in the adult business has been a positive one?

LF: Yes. I recommend it to anybody that wants to try it. It's fun being treated like a human Barbie doll. I just wish it were more socially acceptable.

AO: Do you think of yourself as an atypical model? Most people think it's all parties and crazy nights, but you've written that you started primarily for the fun of it and posterity.

LF: I don't know... if you mean "ditzy," then yes, I'm kinda ditzy. And yes, I do like to party, but it's not because of modeling. I was more into that before I started modeling. Oh, and when I say "party," I don't mean clubbing. I'm kinda anti-club. I'm much more of a dive bar chick. School has been cutting into my party time though, but I have a whole semester off to catch up.

AO: Do you have other creative interests?

LF: I wish. I'm not that artistic or creative. I totally respect those who are. I'm more of a voyeur. I like watching what everybody else is up to. Whether it's sports, people, or art, I usually prefer to watch instead of being actively involved - unless it's sex, then I prefer to be the one being watched.

AO: Is there a special talent you wish you had?

LF: I wish I could beam myself places. I get so damn sick of traffic, I just wish I could beam myself places. I know that's a pretty ridiculous talent to ask for, but that's what I want.

AO: What inspires you?

LF: It's sad, but I'd say nothing. I'm always trying to find that something, but I haven't yet. I want pretty basic, simple things out of my life, so it doesn't take much inspiration to achieve those goals.

AO: What's your biggest weakness?

LF: Hmmm, let's see... cake. I just love cake. I could eat cake for every meal.

AO: If you could be a superhero, who would it be?

LF: Wonder Woman. I grew up watching that show and just thought she was so hot.

AO: One thing you would change about yourself?

LF: My honesty. I tend to be too blunt, and it gets me into trouble.

AO: Describe yourself in one word.

LF: I wish I could, but my personality changes day-to-day. No, I'm not a schizo, but my mood changes all the time. One minute I want to be the center of attention, the next I don't want to be around anybody.

AO: Be honest. You've "Googled" yourself, haven't you?

LF: Yes, of course. And it's pretty amazing to see how many sites I'm on. Hopefully that will fade soon.

AO: Describe the underwear you have on right now.

LF: Not too exciting, I just came from school. I have on a satin, navy blue low-cut thong; but if I have to say so myself, I look pretty damn cute in them. I save the ultra sexy for when I go out. You just never know if you're going to get lucky.

AO: Three items you can't live without?

LF: My puppy dog Jean Paul, Chap- Stick, and... hmm... my vibrator.

AO: What's the better salsa: the dance or the condiment?

LF: Well, I can't do the dance, but I'll say the dance. It looks sexy.

AO: How many pairs of shoes do you own?

LF: I don't count them, but I would say somewhere around 100, not very many. I love shoes and clothes, but I hate the mall. I hate crowded places.

AO: What was the last really trashy book you read?

LF: I've always wanted to read a trashy book - something that gets me all hot and bothered - but I'm always too damn busy reading history books. Maybe now that I have a little time, I'll get to.

AO: If you had your own reality show, what would it be called?

LF: [laughs] Boring. I don't think I'm exciting enough to have my own reality show.

AO: When you sleep you wear?

LF: Once again, it's boring. I'm either naked 'cause I was too drunk to change into my sweats, or I'm wearing my sweats, because I'm always so damn cold.

AO: What is your greatest fear?

LF: Spiders and sharks. Both pretty absurd, but nevertheless, they are so ugly.

AO: What's your number rule in dating?

LF: I throw rules away when dating, or for life in general. I do what I like and don't feel the need to make rules. Some people feel it's so terrible to fuck on the first date, but hey, if the guy's hot and I'm feeling it then it's happening. My dating card is filled up for guys right now, but I'm always looking for a hot chick to take home for the night.

AO: What's a newspaper headline you'd like to read about yourself one day?

LF: Actually I'd hope never to be reading about myself. There are so many more important issues that the news doesn't address already.
