TGP Assistant's a Freebie Now

Version 3.0 of the TGP Assistant software program for gallery building has a new twist: it's now a freebie, according to RLW Publishing, the makers of the program.

The new version has features like built-in rules checking and what RLW calls smart category selection technologies, as well as fast and accurate submissions processes and easy e-mail confirmation processing. And, if your gallery doesn't meet the rules for a particular TGP, the TGP is skipped automatically, RLW said announcing the third version.

"From now on you can forget having to use multiple programs just to build a gallery. TGP Assistant does it all," RLW said. "Renames files, resizes and compresses images, creates thumbnails, builds all your HTML pages and more. It even checks your spelling and has a handy built-in thesaurus."

And what you won't have to do with the new version, despite its being a freebie, RLW said, is put up with the program adding any links or buttons to your galleries as other such TGPs do.

"Most new (and most existing) Webmasters work part time and can't afford to pay a monthly fee to use the program," said RLW chief Rob Whisonant when asked why the company made it a freebie at last. "We want to make it easier for these Webmasters to work efficiently. We (also) feel it will allow us a larger market penetration. (And) we have many other software packages and sponsor programs and are trying to build Webmaster trust through this free release."

Other features include gallery building “in just seconds,” template-driven operation, unlimited gallery template building, thumbnail image creation, batch resizing, compression, and renaming, interactive body tag creation, HTML color picking built right into the program, automated Web browser submissions, multiple submission methods, unlimited submission list creation, a built-in search engine submission tool, easy to add sites, ten customizable fields as well as all regular fields, and setting to check rules pages and submission forms for changes before submitting.

RLW has also opened a new forum to let TGP assistant users have somewhere to swap TGP submission databases.
