Teravision is preparing to begin shooting all its titles in high-definition starting with Appetite for Destruction.
Appetite for Destruction stars Tera Patrick and her contract girls Nikki Benz and Lucy Lee, along with Melissa Lauren.
“It’s heavy on the sex and lighter on the story,” said Howard Levine, national sales manager for Vivid, which distributes Teravision productions.
Teravision is also working on Test Drive, which stars Benz in her first anal feature. Meanwhile, the company also revealed plans to release Teradise Island: Anal Fever, which features Patrick’s first anal scene.
Levine said it was shot on location in Hawaii.
“The locations are absolutely outrageous,” he said. “They had to hike one-and-a-half miles in the jungle just to get the right location.”
Later this year, in a response to requests from fans, Teravision is poised to release videos in which Patrick performs with guys other than husband Evan Seinfeld, who will also begin performing with other girls.
“They were never going to do it, but it’s strictly for the customers, out of love for this business,” Levine noted.
Patrick also stars in Vivid’s Desperate, which is hitting the streets today.
Levine indicated that Vivid is planning to unveil titles in both HD and Blu-ray formats by the end of the summer, rather than choose one format over the other.
“We are going to go with both and let the consumer decide,” he said.
Levine also said that the picture on the back of the AVN Awards Show program actually is not him.
“People keep calling me and asking, ‘Is that really you?’” Levine said. “No, I was not that good-looking in high school.”
