Tera Patrick told AVN.com she is planning several productions this summer as Teravision gains momentum in its second year. In an exclusive interview, she also discussed the philosophy behind her newly formed Tera Patrick Agency.
Patrick and Evan Seinfeld, her husband and business partner, said they were in the process of producing at least five videos during the next three months. Teravision, which has been incorporated for 1½ years, so far has released two videos, Tera! Tera! Tera! and Reign of Tera, through its exclusive distribution deal with Vivid Entertainment Group.
Reign of Tera is ranked No. 1 on the Top 200 Rentals chart in the June issue of AVN, while Tera! Tera! Tera! has sold over 30,000 units since its release a year ago. In that video, which was Patrick's first in two years, the bankable star performed in her first hardcore girl/girl scene - with Savanna Samson.
“I can’t thank Vivid enough,” Patrick said, noting that she will next appear in Vivid’s Collision Course with Briana Banks. “I feel we’re at home with the best company. I’m so honored that {Vivid co-chairman} Steve Hirsch decided to embrace me and we’ve joined forces.”
Seinfeld revealed that Teravision is considering “some artsy, no-dialogue sex movies, and maybe a really fun, amateur-style Tera movie.”
“We’re trying to keep each movie fresh and do different things,” said Seinfeld, aka Spyder Jones, who made his directorial debut with Reign of Tera. “And we are holding our ace of spades. We're planning a Tera Patrick anal exploration movie that could be the biggest of all time.”
Patrick has made a special effort to reach out to her fans in recent months, maintaining a hectic, cross-country appearance schedule. In addition, she recently signed on as the Sex Editor of FHM-UK, the largest men’s magazine in Europe, and even shot a five-page lifestyle piece for FHM in the U.S. That is in addition to her monthly column as publisher of Genesis.

Patrick said she takes pride in going to less frequented locales, such as Nashville, Tenn., where she enjoyed a recent feature booking.
“Feature dancing has turned into something I really, really love,” she said. “I used to be out of touch with fans before. I didn’t do as many appearances. Now I’m doing nightclub appearances and store signings and I’ve devoted a lot of my time to going and reconnecting with my fans. My Website (clubtera.com) is just blowing up.”
While on the road, Patrick continually sees the potential of her burgeoning agency (terapatrickagency.com).
“I have beautiful girls approaching me all the time,” she said. Many of them tell Patrick how they thought porn was so “dirty” until they met her. She wants to create an upscale, boutique image for her agency and guide girls’ careers using what she has learned.
“I’ll book them good jobs and treat them like the stars that they are, so they feel comfortable and feel proud to be in the business,” Patrick continued. “I made a few mistakes, and I want to help girls avoid the pitfalls and avoid the bad production companies, drugs, and all that stuff.
“The business is so open to different types of women. I want girls to make the business actually work for them and help them make some money. … I’ve grown so much as a person and as a woman. I learned a lot and I love what I do. I feel extremely lucky to be here.”
Seinfeld said the two have been observing the agency landscape and believe there is room for their own brand of management.
“We think {LA Direct Models} does really amazing things for the business. We see Jim South {at World Modeling} hanging in there doing their thing. Look for Tera’s agency to be more of a management agency,” he said. “With my music and acting background, we’re trying to create something closer to what The Firm does, but for the adult business.”
As Patrick’s agency and production company progress, she may even sign a few exclusive Teravision girls.
“A lot of people ask me, ‘Are you going to sign any contract girls?’” Patrick said. “In a year or two as I segue out of the business. Opening an agency was a really big step for me.”
Meanwhile, the starlet said she has been fielding more offers than ever for various opportunities. One of her latest projects is the launch of an herbal product called Python for men and Naughty for women. She is also writing a book and posing for a 2007 swimsuit calendar. Later this year she will unveil a new toy line through California Exotic Novelties called High-Performance Novelties by Tera Patrick.
“I get a lot of scripts every week to do mainstream movies,” Patrick said. “As far as mainstream work goes, I love doing it, but I want to pick and choose carefully what I want to do.”
Seinfeld joked that he is sitting “at the helm of SS TeraMania.”
“I spend most of my time fielding offers for Tera, whether it be mainstream movies, appearances, mainstream magazines, adult magazines, things we can’t do because we’re in an exclusive contract, licensing, digital rights management, and then of course our agency,” Seinfeld said. “And what we’re trying to do because of Tera’s huge popularity and her success is to pick and choose the best things that are the most lucrative, and also the most fun for her and also what will give her the best exposure.”
Patrick added, “We’re enjoying each day and having fun building our company. We’re now enjoying the fruits of our labor.”
