Tera Patrick Becomes Newest Vivid Girl; Still Works With Digital Playground

Having been released by Digital Playground from her contractual obligations for video performances, Tera Patrick is now a Vivid Girl. Patrick has signed a two-year deal that requires her to perform in at least three adult projects a year, with the option to perform in more if she wishes.

Contrary to statements attributed to Seinfeld elsewhere, Patrick has not been released from all of her contractual obligations to her former studio Digital Playground. Sources close to the negotiations between Vivid, Digital Playground and Patrick require the porn star to honor her obligations to Digital Playground in respect to Internet and novelty deals.

California Exotic Novelties currently markets a signature Tera Patrick line of novelties, a deal arranged during Patrick’s tenure at Digital Playground. Patrick signed to Digital Playground in 2000, then left the studio in the latter part of 2002.

As part of the deal with Vivid, Patrick and her husband Evan Seinfeld will be forming Tera Vision, their own adult studio that will be distributed through Vivid.

Sources suggest that Seinfeld will be performing in at least some videos as Patrick’s partner, although it is not year clear if Patrick will perform with any other men.

Besides having grabbed the attention of the adult industry by marrying Patrick, Seinfeld is famous in his own right for his role as Jaz Hoyt on HBO’s critical hit Oz, which will make him possibly the most established actor to pursue a porn career.

AVN Award-winning director Chi Chi LaRue is rumored to be directing Patrick’s first Vivid title.
