The last person known to talk to Natel King, aka porn star Taylor Summers, was her mother, who talked to King on February 29. Now nine days later, the police are trying to find King, or at least find out what happened to her.
“She contacted her mother on the evening of the 29 and said that everything was fine,” Autumn Rayne, a friend og King’s told AVN.com during an interview conducted via email. “She stayed in touch with her family on a daily basis. It is very unlike her to not let people know where she was.”
King had arrived in Conshohocken, a suburb of Philadelphia, on Feb. 28.
Rayne, who has worked with King before on a few projects, has been raising awareness of King’s disappearance contacting not only adult media outlets but mainstream media as well.
“The police are being very tightlipped about this,” Rain said. “I actually had to call the NBC affiliate in Philadelphia to get someone on the story because when I contacted the Conshohocken PD they were assholes and said it was no ones’ business.”
According to Rayne, King’s mother called the police on March 3 about her daughter. Two days later the police found King’s car on West Third Avenue, outside a first-floor apartment that they investigated. Local media reports say that the resident of the apartment that was searched was questioned but wasn’t booked on any charges.
“They carried out bags and boxes of evidence, including lights neighbors said a man used in the apartment that was being used as a studio,” Rayne said.
The identity of the photographer that King was supposedly booked for was has not been released by police officials, though Rayne suggested it was one Anthony Frederick to KSEX Radio.
“What bothers me is that she left her car at the photographer’s and he didn’t report her missing, and it had been sitting in front of his place for three days,” Rayne said. “Am I the only one that finds this odd?”
Rayne says the King didn’t have any medical problems to her knowledge and stayed away from drugs.
It is thought that King went to get lunch a nearby restaurant and never came back. There are over ten restaurants less than a fifth of a mile from where her car was found.
