Tawny Roberts has been released from her two-year performance-contract at VCA six months early, the result of a mutual decision by the adult studio and Roberts, who has most recently been featured in New Wave Hookers #7.
"It was a totally amicable split. She just finished shooting a movie for us this past weekend. Basically she wants the opportunity to pursue other things and we totally support her desire to do well for herself. She's great, she's beautiful, and we loved having her," VCA publicist Mischa Allen told AVN.com.
Roberts will not be performing for four months to allow time for VCA to release projects featuring her, including Chloe's Gonzo: the Movie and VCA's first Interactive Voice Activation DVD Double 00 Blonde, which will be released in September. In addition, Roberts will still sign for VCA at Erotica-LA.
Roberts, 24, hopes to land a contract with another studio in September after she finishes her promotional commitments to VCA.
"I had a wonderful year-and-a-half at VCA. I'm just think its time to move on. I just looking forward to doing more in this industry," Roberts said.
