Village Voice columnist and AVN Award-winning director, Tristan Taormino, was joined by adult performers Joanna Angel and a slew of industry members for the party celebrating her new Adam & Eve release, House of Ass.
“Because a lot of adult stars don’t get out to New York that often, I think everyone had a lot of fun,” Katy Zvolerin, Adam & Eve spokeswoman, said of the Sunday event.
Angel, who stars in the new video, was joined by co-star and fellow performer Justine Jolie, along with Kylee Kross, Tommy Pistol, Zak Smith, directors Eon McKai and DCypher among others for the festivities held at the Crash Mansion in Manhattan.
The event was covered by the New York Times, Blender, The Village Voice and a number of other New York and national publications.
Highlighting the evening was the screening of the trailer for the movie.
“It was amazing to show the trailer for House of Ass on the big screen to such a huge crowd of screaming people,” Taormino said.
The movie, Taormino’s first in five years, is a take off on reality shows which show what happens when a group of porn stars have to stay in a secluded mountain cabin for the weekend.
The title includes three anal scenes, Angel’s first interracial scene with Mr. Marcus and a toys and tongue-fest with Justine Joli and Sarah Blake on a balcony which features the unique use of a tuning fork. It also features an orgy scene with Keeani Lei, Scott Nails and Talon.
