Tango Blues Entertainment (TBE) has announced a new adult gay video line, entitled Sports and Recreation Video (S&R). Drew Warner, the director/editor behind the new line, and a nominee for Best Videography at the 1998 GayVN Awards, will be producing/directing six titles a year. These titles will be for Warner's solo line TRADE, with a second line of hardcore fetish/kink videos under the S&R Video label being developed for Fall '99.
The first video in the TRADE series, Man Trade, stars Dean Spencer, Alex Wilcox, Matt Bradshaw, J.T. Sloan, and newcomer Scott Matthews. The series reflects the artistic style Warner carries over to adult video from his background producing and shooting fashion campaigns and music videos. Each video in the series will include five solo performances, with a total running time of 90 minutes, along with trailers for upcoming S&R projects and future Website information.
"I wanted to do something a little more creative with the solo series and theme each one differently, but maintain a constant look," stated Warner. From the entrancing videography and music, to the letterbox format usually reserved for film, these videos are bound to stand apart from the already crowded shelves. Man Trade is currently being shipped via mail-order through Titan Media. The second feature, Leather Trade, will be released in July. Jock Trade and Fresh Trade will follow in September and November, respectively.
Channel One Releasing will distribute all S&R product, with Warner producing, directing and editing his own work. Tango Blues Entertainment is a Hollywood-based production company, with post production facilities located in Los Angeles. TBE's post facility has already done work for BIG Video, Can-Am Productions, Sidmoore-Shepherd Entertainment and Sam Dixon's Boiling Point Productions since opening in October of 1998.
