Topco Sales recently released two new adult board games and has a third one on the way, all three of which the product development team spent over a year developing.
“We went to a number of adult stores and bought games similar to these and we were very disappointed in what we got for our money – they were very repetitious, very tame, and very boring,” Jennifer, part of the Topco Sales product development team, told AVN.com.
“We want to provide a useful tool for communication. Sex board games are a great way for people who are inhibited to communicate with the their partners,” Cristina Barnes, another part of Topco Sales production team said.
All three of the games involves a board and cards that offer sexual stunts or questions to ask or answer.
One of the games already released was Penthouse’s Sweet Surrender, a beginner’s introduction to BDSM that comes with a feather tickler, a faux leather blindfold, and a rubber flogger. The game comes with two sets of cards – one with submissive suggestions and one with dominant suggestions.
“It’s really for the curious, not for the hardcore bondage crowd,” Jennifer noted. “This is just enough to give you a taste, a way for those who are curious to experiment.”
The other game already on the market is Spice TV’s Naughty ‘n Nice, a game is designed to facilitate the extra spark that couples may need to keep their sex drive going.
“With this game we’re destroying the notion that a love game needs to be either very sweet for her or very naughty for him,” Barnes said. "We mix it up and let people know that raunch is for everyone”
The cards in the game offer suggestions such as licking your partners toes or ask questions such as: “If your lover were an ice cream Sunday how would you eat them?”
“We hope that no one actually finishes the game,” Barnes said. “That’s how we know we’ve done our job.”
The third game, Hustler’s Bottom’s Up, is a hybrid of Pictionary, charades and truth or dare with a XXX flare. It will be released in the next month or so.
“This is just like a mainstream game, but for adults. We really outdid ourselves with this one,” Barnes said. “When this comes out it will be by far the funniest game on the market.”
