Pure Play Media announced Wednesday it has hired T.J. DiReda as Director of Marketing and Public Relations for all its enterprises.
DiReda, the former Director of Marketing for Vivid Entertainment Group, will handle the marketing and promotions for Pure Play, Michael Ninn's Ninnworx, SCORE and Seymore Butts.
"My goal is to raise their profile by co-branding and brand extension within the mainstream and adult worlds," DiReda told AVN.com. "After many offers from many different companies, I'm excited to be working with Pure Play. They have great taste in adult content."
Pure Play CEO Richard Arnold said Wednesday that he followed DiReda's work at Vivid.
"I didn't think we were going to get him," Arnold told AVN.com from his Toronto office. "We're the new kids on the block. … He is a key element in our company for the future and is definitely going to be part of an incredibly winning team we are putting together."
DiReda said his first venture would be next week at the MAGIC Convention in Las Vegas, where he will throw a VIP party at the Real World suite at the Palms Hotel on Aug. 27. Ninnworx contract performer Anais will be modeling Third Rail's new WASP clothing line at MAGIC, one of the leading apparel conventions in the world, and also will be co-hosting the bash.
Ninnworx, Third Rail, WASP, Royal Elastics, XXL, Red Bull and Tribal are co-sponsors for the event that is expected to attract celebrities such as Val Kilmer and Leo DiCaprio. A pool party at Skin at the Palms will precede the suite party.
DiReda also said he was looking forward to working with Ninnworx contract girls, Victoria Zdrok, Linn Thomas, Georgia Adair, Wanda Curtis and Anais.
"They are in my opinion some of the most beautiful girls in the adult industry," he said.
Thomas and Zdrok will be featured in VH1's "Centerfold Babylon" on Sept. 24, discussing their transitions from Playmate into hardcore.
