T.J. DiReda told AVN.com Tuesday that he has parted ways with Pure Play Media as the company's director of marketing and public relations.
DiReda said it was an amicable split based on his desire to pursue other business interests. DiReda handled the marketing for Ninn Worx, Seymore Butts and SCORE.
"I'd like to focus my efforts on some other projects that I've been working on and Pure Play has given me their blessing," DiReda said. "Pure Play is an up-and-coming company that will be one to watch in the future. I appreciate them giving me the opportunity to broaden my horizons and look forward to possibly working with them again some day."
Pure Play managing partner Richard Arnold said, "T.J. is more than what we need at this particular moment."
DiReda said he was considering propositions from a few companies within the industry that he declined to name.
The former director of marketing for Vivid Entertainment Group came into the business in July 2001, leaving a mainstream Hollywood background as a literary agent and talent manager.
