A suspect has been arrested in connection with a series of Denver-area adult video and book store robberies, police said last week.
Joseph Edwards, 36, was arrested after police observed him enter a gold-colored Toyota and drive away, the Denver Post reported.
Edwards is suspected of being involved in a number of armed robberies in Denver and nearby Commerce City late last month, police said.
The robberies occurred at adult video and bookstores on East Colfax Avenue, South Broadway, Federal Boulevard and in the 4800 block of Pontiac Street in Commerce City. A gun was fired during one incident, but no one was injured.
Denver and Colorado Springs police along with the metro-area Fugitive Location and Apprehension Group assisted with the arrest.
