LOS ANGELES — AVN Hall of Fame director Stuart Canterbury has inked a new deal to release his latest novel entitled, Shocking Pink.
The work of fiction is a behind-the-scenes look at X-rated movie production and will be released by Running Wild Press in May 2023.
A 2017 AVN Hall of Fame inductee who began his career in the '80s, Canterbury has shot for companies such as Penthouse, Hustler, Brazzers, Adam & Eve, Video Marc Dorcel, Arrow and many others during his career.
The novel is described as a comedy, following the day-to-day life of a fictional porn producer.
“So much of what is portrayed about the adult industry is either sensational or lurid,” said Canterbury, “but in my experience, most of it is hilarious.”
