Live adult video chat site StreamItLive.com has signed with LiveCamNetwork 1.9 software creator 2Much Internet Services Inc.
Founded in 2002 by Web veteran Brent Daugherty, StreamItLive.com has had its run of problems, which they hope to end by teaming up with the 2Much Internet.
"We are hoping with 2Much's software we can rebuild what we have lost," Daugherty told AVNOnline.com. "They have a good system that allows us to run a stable network, which in the past we could not do with other software due to downtime, errors, and bugs. We have tried many others and they are just not ready for production."
A major part of the problem, Daugherty said, was the inflexibility of software available on the market. "A lot of live Webcam software on the market these days started out as the back end for a particular site, is tailored to what the site owner wanted, and doesn't take recommendations from users," Daugherty explained. "We've had over 400 performers in the last year and half and a lot have come and gone due to software issues. We have changed software now at least five times."
Daugherty felt the need to expand when "more and more content creators started popping up out of nowhere, so we launched adult hosting, design, and video production companies." Daugherty's company began creating and hosting Websites and provided pre-made Webscripts.
"One day, back in 2000, we created an adult content brokerage system instead of listing all content by hand," he said. "This really took off and is now used by top producers such as David Lace, Tom Mayes, CertifiedContent, ContentJunky, YoungFreshContent, and others."
"I kept my eye on Brent and StreamItLive partly because he was part of the competition, but also because he's good," said 2Much.net CEO Mark Prince. "His additions and format approaches on StreamItLive were very inventive. I'm glad he turned to us. He'll be able to let his creative side loose since our system takes care of most of the details. I can't wait to see what he's going to do with LiveCamNetwork 1.9."
StreamItLive.com plans to combine LiveCamNetwork's system with video content produced in the StreamItLive studios with StreamItLive performers.
"We'll stream non-nude video through the free chat channel, and nude and hardcore video through pay chat," said Daugherty. Presently, he and his business partner/wife are recruiting performers to chat from StreamItLive's studios and look forward to starting over from a stable platform.
"Our goal is to rebuild the network to where it was when we launched it almost two years ago," he added, "and to offer a large selection of performers who wish to have a variety."
