Stormy Daniels, Wicked Support Charity Poker Event

Wicked Pictures contract star Stormy Daniels joined Carmen Electra, Wicked President Steve Orenstein, AVN award-winning director Jonathan Morgan, actress Laura Prepon, and other celebrities at the recent Head to Hollywood Charity Poker Tournament in Las Vegas.

Held at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino over the weekend, the event gathered celebrities as well as some of the top poker players in the country to benefit Head to Hollywood, a charity founded by Electra for survivors of cancerous and non-cancerous tumors.

“I actually don’t know how to play poker. I’m more of a blackjack girl, but I went there to support Jonathan Morgan who was actually playing and so it was all for charity and a good cause,” Daniels said.

Among those attending were talk show host Montel Williams, Shannon Elizabeth, Krista Allen, James Lesure, David Spade and others.

Following the event, the party moved to the Hard Rock’s Body English nightclub where Daniels and other celebrities partied well into the evening.

Daniels has been keeping a busy schedule, having attended a movie premiere last week and then dancing at the Solid Platinum strip club in Lexington, Ky. days later. She is now getting ready for a feature dance engagement this Thursday through Saturday at Oxnard’s Spearmint Rhino, 630 Maulhardt Ave. For show times, call (805) 988-6518.

“It’s really grassroots marketing at its finest,” she said of dancing on the road.

“I can tell you which DVDs sell and which ones don’t when I go to these clubs. But it’s interesting to me that more women are watching my movies. Couples tell me they watch my movies and they actually pay attention to the stories.”

Meanwhile, Daniels is looking forward to directing her next feature, which she also wrote. It will begin production this fall.

“I can’t say much about it, but it's like a Mr. & Mrs. Smith and True Lies with spies and bad guys,” she said.

“I’m going to blow up a Jeep in it, so I’m excited.”
