Rising star Ashley Steel has signed a non-exclusive promotional agreement with Astrux Entertainment.
The sexy straight-A student who will begin attending UCLA next week in pursuit of her psychology degree will now perform in upcoming Astrux videos and represent the company at events and conventions. Astrux releases are distributed exclusively by Metro Studios.
Steel, the blonde, blue-eyed starlet who landed the cover of the Oui magazine that just hit newsstands, has already gained notoriety for her website, www.sendashleytocollege.com, where fans have the option to send her a donation to help finance her education. Earlier this year she was a guest on the Tom Leykis Show on 97.1 FM promoting her campaign.
The native of Orange County who recently moved to Los Angeles eventually wants to earn her Ph.D in psychology and open her own practice.
“I’ve been really interested in the mind since I was really young,” Steel said. “Like why people do certain things. I’m interested in the power of the mind.”
She said that certain aspects of neuroscience and dream research particularly intrigued her. In between her studies, Steel now performs in girl/girl sex scenes but has paced herself so far.
Astrux shot Steel’s hardcore debut, Who’s Next in Porn?, when she got nasty with Brianna Love in her first full sexual experience with another girl.
“I was so nervous waiting for my scene, but once we got into it I was fine,” Steel said, adding that now she has become so comfortable being naked on camera that she sometimes forgets that she can’t just change her shirt in public without causing a stir.
Steel said that so far her experience in adult has been “awesome,” and that porn “is something people can do as long as they don’t feel bad about it.”
“I talked to a lot of different producers when I was first starting and I met with Astrux and just felt comfortable with them,” she added.
Steel, who got her start posing nude for a couple Websites, also can be seen in Young, Hot and Bothered 2 and 3 and Strap It On 3, a Red Light District title. In addition, she has appeared on Playboy TV’s “Sex Factor” and the latest season of “7 Lives Xposed,” as well as Hot Body International’s Naked Slumber Party.
Steel has already worked with starlets such as Penny Flame, Monica Mayhem, Naudia Nyce and Ariel. She is also looking forward to an upcoming shoot for Metro director Bridgette Kerkove.
