The classic best-selling Taboo series is making a comeback next week when Standard Digital brings back the first of six titles from the 1980s series.
Directed by AVN Hall of Famer Kirdy Stevens, the six titles will make their return in an enhanced version with improved visual quality and sound starting with the original 1980 title, Taboo, set for release Tuesday. Subsequent releases will take place every other week.
“The new edition we’re about to roll out is something that’s worthy of what consumers expect from a line of movies that has fans spanning over 25 years,” said Steve Stevens, Standard Digital president.
“That is a true adult classic in every sense of the word and that continues to be a title that flies off the shelves.”
The first of the series features Kay Parker in the lead role as a woman whose husband leaves her and her son for a younger woman. She then gets involved in meaningless dates and parties as she starts lusting after her own son.
The performers in the subsequent titles are Ginger Lynn, Nina Hartley, Juliet Anderson, Cara Lott, Dorothy LeMay, Britt Morgan, Colleen Brennan, Kristara Barrington, Amber Lynn and Porsche Lynn.
Standard Digital is also scheduled to release three other Kirdy Stevens titles, Playing with Fire, now available; Daisy Chain, and The Animal in Me.
