Leather and fetish gear manufacturer Spartacus Leather has joined with Corrupted Pictures in a crossmarketing deal featuring its products to some of the gonzo studio’s titles.
Beginning with the Corrupted title Corrupted by Justine Joli, which is now going into production, Spartacus will be featured in the company’s DVDs and on the company’s Web site, scheduled to be launched later.
“It is an honor to be the exclusive provider of fetish gear to Corrupted Pictures and their amazing host of talent,” said Sean Christensen, sales and marketing account executive for Spartacus.
“They’re doing edgy stuff in their videos that fits in with our category of fetish goods.”
Heidi Joy Pike, head of production for Corrupted Pictures said she was pleased with the new deal.
Under the agreement, Spartacus will feature Corrupted Pictures titles in its retail store at 300 S.W. 12th Ave. in Portland, Ore.
In Corrupted, Spartacus will provide corsets, restraint lines and collars along with its Verve line of vibrators, Christensen said. “Any time bondage goods are needed on a movie, we’ll be providing those.”
Established in Portland in 1987 by Albert Bedrosian, Spartacus featured a handful of leather goods before eventually moving into the manufacturing side, making leather products and other fetish-related items.
Meanwhile, Spartacus is rolling out its new Y-style beaded nipple clamps in October.
Corrupted Pictures is scheduled to release its first title, Flirt N Squirt, in September.
