SiVG Conference Announces Additional Speakers

The Sex in Video Games Conference has added more experts to the lineup of speakers who will address and interact with attendees during the June 8-9 event.

Marty Klein has been a licensed marriage and family therapist and certified sex therapist for 25 years. He has aimed his entire career toward a single set of goals: telling the truth about sexuality, helping people feel sexually adequate and powerful, and supporting the healthy sexual expression and exploration of women and men. Klein has written five books on sexuality and frequently is quoted as an expert in Newsweek, USA Today, The New York Times, and even “Ann Landers.” He publishes “Sexual Intelligence,” the monthly online newsletter about culture, politics, the media, and sex.

For the past four years, Brashears has helped shaped the vision of ownership, privacy, and security in Second Life, Linden Labs’ award-winning, user-created digital world. The Second Life platform is a frequent playground for thousands of active creators of games, socialization experiences, and adult entertainment. Brashears was also a key member in the development of Burningman's Net-based collaborative volunteer and work tool.

She has more than 30 years’ experience as a sexologist and is the president-elect of the American Association for Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT).
