Siri Dahl, Friends to Host 2nd Annual ‘Corn Telethon’ Livestream

LAS VEGAS—The "Corn Telethon" returns with a 12-hour live stream on Monday, September 4, hosted by adult actress and activist Siri Dahl and friends, to benefit nonprofit organizations Sex Workers Outreach Project (SWOP) LA and Sex Workers Mutual Aid (SWAID) Las Vegas.

“Last year, we sounded the alarm. Those looming threats to free speech? They’ve officially arrived,” an event organizer said. “What started as a cheeky fundraiser to raise awareness has grown into a full-blown celebration of resistance, joy and community in the face of attacks on free speech and accelerated authoritarianism. Project 2025 is real and we’re seeing the plan going exactly as we’ve warned.

“The saying goes that sex workers have long been the canaries in the coal mine when it comes to freedom of expression—but we’re not the only ones affected. Authors, comedians, artists, queer activists and anyone who values creativity and privacy are now finding themselves in the same crosshairs.”

This year’s Corn Telethon will feature "a rotating gang of comedians, musicians, writers and mischief-makers.” Last year's guests included Jamie Loftus, Open Mike Eagle, Ana Foxxx, River Butcher, Jeena Bloom and many more.

While the fundraising broadcast promises a mischievous party-like atmosphere with a variety of guests that will appear in musical, comedy and costumed entertainment and spontaneous live antics, the purpose of the telethon is to raise awareness of threats to free speech and freedom of expression.

Dahl and organizers cited the current political climate, the alleged implementation of Project 2025, as well as advances in AI technology that could all present continued challenges for the adult industry, which is at the forefront of defending explicit speech.

In addition to Dahl, Corn Telethon co-hosts include podcaster Alex Steed ("You Are Good") and show co-producer Madelynn Britt.

A limited-edition 2024 Corn Telethon poster also is for sale, signed by Dahl, with proceeds to benefit SWOP LA and SWAID LV.
