Sineplex/Sinsational Pictures Signs With Pulse

AVODN Inc., parent company of Sineplex and Sinsational Pictures, has signed an exclusive distribution deal with Chatsworth-based Pulse Distribution.

The deal, effective on Saturday, means Pulse will be exclusive distributor for the company’s upcoming releases and its library of more than 200 titles.

“We’re delighted to have chosen Pulse as our exclusive distributor in the United States,” said AVODN spokesman David Covington.

“Pulse has developed a great reputation in a relatively short space of time and we are confident they will do a great job representing Sineplex, Sinsational and our new gay line of videos, Sinemale.

Already, Pulse is accepting preorders for the company’s latest releases, including the series Sliders, Vol 21; Wiskas Perversions, Vol. 2; Hardcore Climax, Vol. 15; and Big Black, Lil Pink, Vol. 7.

Sineplex and Sinsational are each scheduled to release four titles per month and also plan to release new editions of its ongoing series Winkers, Triple Stacked, Nasty Prospects and Gooey Buns.

“We’ve worked hard to develop unique series which truly appeal to adult buyers and have been able to do this with a unique talent pool that can only be seen on Sineplex and Sinsational,” said Covington.

Jim Kohls, Pulse co-owner, said the partnership is a perfect fit for both companies.

“We have a number of studios focused largely on new releases, but the Sineplex and Sinsational libraries have a great appeal to our customers and they also have maintained a very high quality for all their new releases.”

“We’ve already received a great response from our customers for the first Sinemale titles and we expect Sinemale to establish itself in the gay market very quickly,” added Mark Hamilton, Pulse co-owner.

Pulse was formed by industry veterans Kohls and Hamilton in August 2005, with distribution deals with 20 studios now in place, featuring a mix of straight and gay brands, including Vivid Entertainment, which signed a contract this week, and Falcon Studios.
