Sin City has released the second installment in its popular lesbian series Pink Paradise. The sequel is directed by former Wicked Pictures contract girl, Devinn Lane, who was sought out specifically for the project last month.
"Working with Sin City on this movie was an incredible experience," Lane told AVN.com. "Every one of those girls went absolutely nuts on set. The energy was amazing. I know people are going to love this movie."
Pink Paradise 2 follows the story of a girls-only day spa that caters to the deviant sexual desires of its clientele. The title stars Sammie Rhodes, Roxy Deville, Tiffany Price, Lorena Sanchez, Aubrey Addams, Sativa Rose, Shannon Kelly, Vivian West, Kimberly Kole, Demi Delia, Annette Schwartz, and Trina Michaels.
With a strong background in couples' porn, Lane said she worked hard to elevate what might have otherwise been a standard lesbian title into a strong, story-driven feature. "When [Sin City Films General Manager] Scott [Justice] came to me and told me about Pink Paradise, I just immediately envisioned it being about a day spa," Lane laughed. "A day spa where women fulfill all of their sexual fantasies."
Lane said she hand picked all of the girls for the movie, focusing on two central parts. "I knew I wanted to have Roxy Deville play the receptionist and Demi Delia play the doctor…and all of the other characters just fell into place from there, after a researched some girls and looked to see if the chemistry was there."
Lane explained that after one of the female performers had to cancel, she serendipitously found starlet Annette Schwarz. "Annette came in as a replacement, and she did an amazing job. I hadn't heard of her then, but she's one of my favorite performers now."
Justice said he felt that Lane was the perfect candidate for the job. "Having worked exclusively with women for the bulk of her career as a performer I feel that she brings a special understanding to lesbian sex that a male director just can't offer. The first installment was extremely well-received and I wouldn't have trusted this sequel to anyone else. The caliber of her work speaks for itself."
As for the future, Lane said that she'd love to direct a third installment of the all-girl series. "It's really just up to the sales at this point, but I had so much fun [with Pink Paradise 2], I'd love to direct the next one.
Some of Lane's previous directing efforts include all five installments of The Devinn Lane Show, as well as a variety of titles for Wicked Pictures and Shane's World Films. In addition to hardcore work, Lane also hosts Playboy TV's reality show "7 Lives Exposed."
