Michael Ninn’s Black Orchid and Rocco Siffredi’s Marco Polo are among the classics making their way back to the video store in remastered form as part of Sin City’s efforts to market its classic titles.
“We’ve dug into the vaults to bring out the best of the best of the best,” said Danny Gorman, Sin City national sales manager adding that the company will issue one classic title per month, beginning with Marco Polo, set for release next week.
“We have an extraordinary library of untouched classics and we felt that now was a fantastic time to bring them to the fans once again.”
Siffredi’s Marco Polo, was originally released in 1999. It features Siffredi himself in the title role, along with exotic hotties Tabitha Cash, Simona Valli, Giulia Chanel and Georgia Anghela as Marco Polo’s hot concubines who can’t get enough his manhood during his travels.
Ninn’s highly acclaimed Black Orchid is also coming back this summer. Originally released in 1993, Black Orchid tells the story of an elusive writer played by Steve Drake, and a sex-hungry executive who wants to live out his sexual fantasies through the writer’s eyes. It also marks Ninn's first adult feature and shows much of the mood lighting and his thematic approach to filmmaking.
It stars Alana, Lacy Rose, Ona Zee, Jonathan Morgan, Sunset Thomas, Veronica Hart, T.T. Boy, Zach Thomas, Ari, Cal Jammer and Morelle Dekeigh.
Other titles set for release beginning next week and once a month thereafter are Rocco Siffredi classics The Man Who Loved Women, Backstage Pass and The Quest, as well as Robert McCallum’s Erotika with Samantha Strong.
“It’s really wonderful to be able to share these titles with the next generation of watchers,” Gorman added.
