CHATSWORTH, Calif. – Adult production company, Shane’s World Studios, has acquired Hush-Hush Entertainment, Shane’s World VP of Sales, Megan Stokes, confirmed to AVN today. Shane's World will get the Hush-Hush product effective, Jan. 1, 2008.
Shane’s World Studios cited many things that drew them to Hush-Hush, including but not limited to the company's diverse product, large internet presence and constant growth. According to Stokes, the agreement will not have any major changes in terms of product, quality or personal at either of the companies. “We’ll just be able to access each other’s resources. The two companies will be able to complement each other very nicely.”
Stokes expressed excitement about the growth that both brands will be able to accomplish in the next year.
“This acquisition was a 'no brainer' for us. Hush-Hush Entertainment is a leader in quality reality content," said Shane's World owners, Jennie and Brian Grant. "They have made a huge name for themselves with their many brands including the Blackzilla series. The ability to bring another strong reality powerhouse into our fold gives us the ability to diversify our content into even more markets. This is a very exciting time for us!."
According to Andrew S., former owner and now CEO of Hush-Hush Entertainment, “they made me an offer I couldn’t refuse!”
