Shane is back and she’s bringing back the first 18 volumes of the Shane’s World series on DVD.
As part of an agreement between Shane’s World Studios and Shane, Shane was able to keep the rights to the first 18 volumes of the series, the ones made before she sold to the studio to Jennie Grant, her former assistant, when she left adult.
The first two volumes of the series were released on DVD in early 2002, but the rest of the collection has never been converted into DVDs.
Bob East, owner of Phoenix Rising, the company distributing the titles told AVN.com that the first two titles did well when they were converted to DVD, and he still moves some of the VHS version of the titles.
“It’s almost ten years old and it still holds up. People still love Shane,” East said.
Shane’s World 3 and 4 will be released on December 16, with two more volumes being released as DVDs each month. Then the catalog titles of the Slumber Party series that she owns will begin being released in a similar fashion.
And Shane will also being starting some new series. “Well one is tentatively scheduled to be called Girls, Girls, Girls, but that could change, East said. “She has some great ideas. Not necessarily new, but certainly very different.”
And Shane, who had a baby earlier this year, is reportedly still in great shape. “She doesn’t look any different. Really, she doesn’t,“ East said.
