LOS ANGELES—Adult industry job board SexyJobs.com is sponsoring the upcoming 2026 Blush San Francisco PornFilmFestival, to be held at the Roxie Theater, in San Francisco.
“We are so excited to announce our new sponsorship for the Blush film festival in San Francisco, which will run July 31 through August 2,” Marcel Robins, president of marketing at SexyJobs, told AVN.
The hybrid online and in-person event will include screenings and workshops and will be attended by adult stars, industry members and local celebrities, including classic XXX star Annie Sprinkle with her wife, environmental activist Beth Stephens. Veteran queer filmmaker Shine Lousie Houston, whose Pink & White Productions is organizing the fest, will also attend.

On Saturday, pro director Inka Winters is scheduled to show “The Tune-Up” (2026), starring Nicole Kitt and Derek Kage. Also on August 2, trans performer Vanniall and videographer Ashley Lake will screen “Ships in the Night,” featuring Vanniall and trans-masculine actor Jaq Quicksilver. Houston, a pioneer of “queer porn” with her groundbreaking CrashPad series, will also screen several selections throughout the weekend event. A diverse roster of producers from Europe, South America, Asia and Canada will show their short films.
SexyJobs is also an enthusiastic supporter of the Hump! Film Fest, a touring selection of curated adult short films that is scheduled in more than 50 North American cities for its fall tour, starting in September. Founded by sex activist-columnist Dan Savage in 2005, the festival also has been shown internationally. Previous year’s selections are available to stream online at the Fest’s online library.
“SexyJobs is all about creative expression and what better way to unleash that creativity than with indie short films? We started sponsoring film festivals back in 2020, with Dan Savage’s Hump! Fest, which is an independent, sex-positive film fest featuring non-professionally produced films,” Robins explained. “When their organizers reached out to us during COVID, they were concerned because they could no longer show their films before a live audience during that time, but we took a chance and decided to sponsor the online version and we’re so happy we did.
“Nowadays, this little film fest shown in small independent theaters has really grown. It’s touring much of the year in over 50 cities throughout the US, Canada and Europe—and very soon Latin America,” she added.
Submissions to Hump! are open to all filmmakers, regardless of experience, for films that are five minutes long or less, in genres including erotic, comedic, kinky, romantic and experimental.
“Many of the short five-minute films are not only entertaining, sexy and funny, they are also very well-produced, many even have some impressive special effects! It’s amazing what like-minded people can create when they get together, even when many of them are amateurs shooting a film for the first time! We love helping to make that possible,” Robins said.
For SexyJobs, she explained, the sponsorships are a no-brainer. By supporting the adult industry and cinema, the festivals provide a platform for up-and-coming filmmakers and performers, generate business for small theaters and encourage open-mindedness on adult themes for wider audiences. With brick-and-mortar theaters facing fewer ticket sales, viewing erotic content in a public setting is a novelty that few theatergoers have experienced.
“We actually have gone to some of the live shows and ‘made it rain SexyJobs Swag,” Robins described. “It’s a lot of fun for us, the audience and the theaters. Many of these independent theaters hosting the festivals have been very kind to us and we appreciate that. Theaters really need our support more than ever, so events like this one are helping to keep these theaters and their staff going! It’s a win-win.”
