SexBankRoll announced a policy change affecting affiliates that leverage mail traffic as part of their marketing strategies.
SBR now will accept only mail traffic from those affiliates that are BigHip.com clients. Mail traffic approval will be granted on a case-by-case basis. The company will take steps to verify BigHip.com affiliate accounts directly.
Presently, the auto-approval process has been terminated. New affiliate partners will be contacted directly by company reps before they can begin sending traffic to sites in the SBR library. These new regulations come as a result of SexBankRoll’s being added to the Spamhaus Block List.
Company Chief Executive Officer Vincent Head is confident these new, cautionary steps will prevent spammers from enrolling in the popular program. "SexBankRoll unfortunately fell victim to a spate of fraudulent sign-ups, but we’re going to do everything we can from [now on] to combat it," Head said. "That means helping Spamhaus expose spammers and much more. Our company has no tolerance for fraud, and we back the CAN-SPAM Act 100 percent."
Incidents of fraud have prompted SBR to bar webmaster enrollment proactively from several countries.
