Sex Z Pictures has green-lighted veteran adult performer and rock musician, Kurt Lockwood, to produce and direct a feature titled The Decline of Western Civilization Part 69: The Porno Years.
Sex Z said the adventurous project, slated for a fall release, can best be described as a "snapshot in time" which will revolve around the collision of rock 'n' roll and porn.
“We’re going to try to capture the real lifestyles of those who love a sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll existence,” said Lockwood, who will star along with his rock band Not the Ramones.
The storyline will lock onto the lives of some sexy porn starlets and musicians who share a common yet often distant theme of soul searching as they attempt to become the next big thing in the unforgiving Hollywood entertainment scene.
Band mates Samantha Ryan and Monica Mayhem will open their lives up for the probing cameras to see everything real including the good, the bad and the ugly.
“The overlying theme has a decadent feel to it and the story will track each featured performer with interview inserts and a MTV documentary feel,” said Lockwood, who is also SAG actor.
The video’s thematic buildup will revolve around a live benefit concert that will in fact take play Aug. 26 at King King in Hollywood. Proceeds from the night’s event will go to the AIM Healthcare detox bed program developed by Sharon Mitchell, Ph.D.
This type of video is quite a departure for Sex Z Pictures which traditionally has shot features revolving around couples friendly topics.
“We’re having an excellent year and it was time to throw the dice and do something totally unexpected movie-wise,” said Sex Z Pictures’ owner Bo Kenney. “Kurt Lockwood has an incredible past with the rock 'n' roll lifestyle which will lend itself to making this movie the real deal. We know the sex is going to be amazing and once he adds in the rock and reality footage this will be a big time project."
The Lockwood feature takes its name from the trio of documentaries on the L.A. punk and metal scenes, The Decline of Western Civilization, directed by mainstream’s Penelope Spheeris.
