Screw Publisher Opens Adult Movie ‘Private Review Circle’ on OF

NEW YORK, N.Y.—Phil Italiano, publisher of Screw, has launched a private adult movie review circle hosted on OnlyFans, creating a structured space for audience feedback and ongoing discussion of adult productions.

Founded in 1968, Screw was one of the first publications in the United States “to publish critical reviews of adult films. The new review circle builds on that tradition by using a subscription-based platform to support weekly, discussion-focused film evaluation, with attention to performance, direction, concept and execution,” a magazine representative said.

Members can participate in weekly review cycles, offering feedback through guided discussion and polling. Insights drawn from these responses are used to inform broader editorial coverage and establish the magazine’s infamous "Peter Meter" rankings, “with an emphasis on identifying patterns, emerging talent, and notable work,” the rep added.

“This is the rebirth of Screw's original mission in 1968,” Italiano said. “Watching adult films critically and taking audience opinion seriously isn’t new. This is just a more efficient and organized way to do it.”

The first title to be reviewed will be announced on March 1, with weekly review cycles continuing thereafter. The review circle is hosted via Phil Italiano’s OnlyFans page, where founding members are currently being accepted at a discounted rate.

Studios interested in having movies reviewed by the panel can participate at no cost.
