'Screw' Publisher Launches Joe Exotic Roku Channel

CHATSWORTH, Calif.Screw magazine publisher Phil Italiano this week unveils Joe Exotic TV on Roku, giving the former roadside zoo showman turned pop culture phenomenon a platform to tell his story unfiltered.

Produced by Italiano and sponsored in part by Screw, the channel will offer exclusive never-before-seen videos, weekly prison phone calls with Exotic, fresh content from behind the walls, and a running account of “what really happened” according to the "Tiger King" himself.

“For years my story was edited, my words twisted, and my life turned into something it wasn’t,” Exotic said. “This channel lets me speak for myself, share what they left out, and show the world who I really am.”

"Supporters—still loud, still loyal—point to cracks in the official narrative, including claims of perjured testimony and a case they argue deserves a second look," promo materials note. "Joe Exotic TV doesn’t aim to clean things up. It leans into the chaos, the controversy, and the man behind it, offering viewers a front-row seat to a story that refuses to sit still. Call it truth, call it spin, call it what Screw has always understood best: a show worth watching."

Joe Exotic TV is free to add on Roku. The channel will be provide extensive free content each week, but those seeking the "full Tiger King experience" may subscribe for $5.99 per month.
