Scott Fayner, known for his biting commentaries on the adult industry and penchant for hard partying, has signed an exclusive deal with Vertigo Video and recently made his directorial debut with Suck Start My Heart.
The blowjob line features performances by Ariana Jollee, August, Alexis Malone, Gia Jordan, Kelly Kline, Brooke, Lucy Lee, Alex Devine, Cole Conners, Naudia Nyce and Zana.
"I thought it went fucking great," Fayner told AVN.com. "I was like a half hour over my time, of the exact time that we rented the house. That's pretty good. But I had great girls. … It was what I would watch if I was watching porn."
Fayner, who is from Newton, Mass., and used to live on Nantucket Island, moved to LA on Jan. 1, 2000 and started working for Hustler that September. He left Hustler last April and began writing daily reports for the popular industry gossip site, www.lukeford.com, but he still freelances for the magazine. Fayner said that he somehow has developed a "horrible reputation" and that it's "hard living up to it" all the time.
"It's just not possible," he said half-jokingly.
Citing not enough male talent, Fayner was also pressed into performing in one scene for Suck Start My Heart – with Jollee and Nyce.
"It was not my choice," Fayner said. "It was just not enough male talent. You'd have to pay Kurt Lockwood or Nick Manning more money, and it's a waste of time for them to come for a blowjob.
"My next one will have Miss Taylor Rain in it. Maybe I might have to do another scene. She still owes me a blowjob from when we were together."
Fayner said he has watched a lot of other director's work, including Evil Angel's Jonni Darkko, and he has held camera for Hustler.
"I'm learning. If Kid Vegas can do it, then Scott Fayner can to," Fayner reasoned.
Fayner says the porn industry is "like a giant fucking candy store and we're all grown-up children."

Fayner said his video would be scored to rock-and-roll music. He may even organize a special reunion of his old band to make original songs.
"But I hate them all," he said.
The question many are wondering is how much time he will have to produce and direct with all his writing for lukeford.com.
"I want to spend the exact same amount of time as I do on the site, which is one hour a day, seven hours a week," Fayner said. "I'm going to see how it goes. Next week is Round 2. Hopefully it will go nice and smoothly, but probably not knowing my luck."
Vertigo Video will release Suck Start My Heart this fall.
