It would be so effortless to start this feature with a few bars of The Police's venerable hit song "Roxanne." You know, stuff about not having to put on the red light and walking the streets for money. But this is Roxanne Galla we're talking about. She's one of the most beautiful model/actresses in the biz, a former member of the Texas Bikini Team for God's sake. Even her name is sexy. Say it with me: Roxanne Galla.
Roxanne Galla-Daniels sounds even better, but I digress.
The sultry print, Internet, and TV/film starlet has appeared in numerous Playboy videos and special issues, and has featured on E! Entertainment Television, MTV, and Access Hollywood. One trip to her sleek official site, RoxanneGalla.com, and you'll see why she's one of the loveliest models in cyberspace; checking out photos of Galla frolicking with pretty girlfriends, posing in bondage, whooping it up with Hef, or just looking stunning, is now one of my favorite pastimes.
Galla typifies the All-American Girl; the blonde haired, blue-eyed dish is equal parts tomboy and girlie-girl; is ambitious and charming; and always quick with a smile. Did I mention she was head cheerleader in high school? Having recently forsaken the lower 48 for the paradise of Maui, Galla continues to pursue her goals and dreams, while wearing a skimpy bikini and sporting a great tan, I'm sure. AVN Online: Was Houston a nice place to grow up? Roxanne Galla: It was okay. It was really hot and really big.
AO: Is it really true that we shouldn't mess with Texas?
RG: Yes. The saying holds true. There is Texas and then the rest of the country. Texans are very proud.
AO: Your bio says you like to fish.
RG: I grew up fishing in Galveston. It was something my family enjoyed and taught me.
AO: I understand you were voted Most Beautiful when you were in high school. Did you receive a prize of some kind for that?
RG: No, just recognition and a separate shoot to go in the yearbook with Mr. Most Beautiful. I looked at my photo recently and do not think it is that great.
AO: You have so many amazing photo galleries on your site. I take it you just love to be in front of the camera?
RG: Yes I do. I love dressing up and creating what hot images we can come up with. In the newest photos, we like to work with a lot of shadows.
AO: How long has RoxanneGalla.com been around?
RG: Since June of 1997.
AO: How involved are you in the daily operation of your Website?
RG: Very involved. That is what makes it special. I answer my email personally and do live chats, newsletter and updates with free nude pictures. I have a great Yahoo fan club also, and I answer fan mail and say hello and change pictures.
AO: What inspires you?
RG: Happiness.
AO: What career goals do you have for yourself?
RG: If you only knew what I do! I love marketing and business. I always have an eye open for something needed or something I can get into. They all vary so much, but I cannot mix up business with Playboy. One career goal: I want to be able to run my companies from anywhere with the occasional flying, which I am doing, and one goal is to gross a million in sales in one of my businesses in the next two years.
AO: I read that you love the Italian language. What's the sexiest thing you can say in Italian?
RG: Anything you say in Italian can be sexy if you say it right. I can say I speak Italian but in a sexy voice.
AO: What makes you feel sexy?
RG: Music.
AO: Do you have a nickname?
RG: Rox.
AO: I hear you like playing the drums. What rock band would you love to play drums with?
RG: I like to play funk beats. I practice with a lot of CDs, mostly compilation CDs because I learn various ways to play. Cowboy Mouth is fun as well.
AO: On your list of top five favorite songs ever, is "Roxanne" by The Police on there? Do you ever get annoyed when people sing that song to you all the time?
RG: No, but they do sing it a lot. Nice attention.
AO: Is there a special talent you wish you had?
RG: Kickboxing.
AO: Have you ever punched somebody? If no, have you ever wanted to?
RG: No, but about three months ago I slapped a boy at a club really hard across the face. Total stranger. I have never done that before. I was with a date and he had the nerve to whisper that I looked nice and wanted me to go with him while I was holding my date's hand. My date ended up kicking him in the tant - I hope ya'll boys know what that is - and security kicked him out. The people at the bar were our friends so they know that we are nice, easygoing people, never out to hurt anyone or cause trouble. So they knew this guy must have really done something to deserve an ass kicking. I take kickboxing and wanted to do something worse but I thought it would not be lady like.
AO: What's your favorite time of day, and why?
RG: Sunset. It's a time to stop and realize that no matter what happens, the world will keep on going and things will keep changing.
AO: Three items you can't live without?
RG: Lemon water, my computer, and my vibrator.
AO: What's the favorite part of your body?
RG: My eyes.
AO: Favorite curse word?
RG: Shit. It's so versatile.
AO: Is there a secret about you that absolutely no one knows? If yes, would you even consider telling someone or is it just so bad that no one can ever, ever know?
RG: Maybe. I have a hitchhikers thumb. I do not know.
AO: One thing you would change about yourself?
RG: More patience.
AO: Describe yourself in one word.
RG: Fun.
AO: What do you have in your purse right now?
RG: Let's see... makeup, wallet, wipes for refreshing anything at anytime, breath mints, keys, sunglasses, and business cards.
AO: What is the quality you most like in a man?
RG: It takes more than one. Honesty, fun, loving, can make me laugh, the list goes on.
AO: If you were going to hit on me, what technique or special talent would you use?
RG: I would give you the sexiest look with my eyes.
AO: If you could sit courtside at a Lakers game with one person, who would it be?
RG: I do actually go to the Lakers games. I am in the VIP boxes at the top. I have looked down and wondered what it would be like to sit with Jack Nicholson.
AO: Describe the underwear you have on.
RG: Funny you asked. I actually put on a pair today that I bought at Fredrick's of Hollywood, from the catalog. I like their cottoning t-backs. Some say funny stuff on them, some are plain. The ones I got - you're going to laugh - I actually got them because I thought they matched my drums. I got three pairs of those. My drum set is glitter pink with leopard print and my panties are pink leopard print.
AO: Tell me a newspaper headline you would like to read about yourself one day.
RG: Lady who lives a full, happy, successful life - learn how you can, too!
AO: Anything coming up you'd like to share with us?
RG: Come see my site... you will not be sorry. And thanks to all the fans for their support.
AO: No, thank you, Roxanne. Because you don't have to turn on the red light... those days are over... you don't have to sell your body to the night ?
RG: ? Are you finished?
AO: Yes.
