If you’ve about had it with missing your favorite Web radio shows there just might a solution out there: Replay Radio.
Applian Technologies spokesman Tom Mayes said that his boss developed the concept when he decided he wanted to catch his favorite public radio shows and listen to them in his car on an MP3 player.
“Just pick your favorite radio show, or select a station and a time range, and Replay Radio records it for you. Hundreds of shows and stations are pre-programmed, making recording as easy as point and click,” says Applian Technologies, which makes Replay Radio. “Once your show is recorded, Replay Radio makes MP3 files for listening with an MP3 player, iPod, or your PC. Or, you can have Replay Radio automatically burn a CD. Everything happens automatically.”
Replay Radio, in fact, resembles a radio when you run it on your computer, and it downloads for less than $30. The program’s incumbent database includes over 671 shows, from American Top 40 with Ryan Seacrest and Art Bell Coast to Coast to NBC Meet the Press, TechWatch Radio, and The Motley Fool Radio Show.
