Organized by directors Joey Silvera, Jules Jordan, Kevin Moore and Leslie’s widow, Kathleen Nuzzo, the public service, a celebration of Leslie’s life, will take place in the Starlight Room at the Sportsman’s Lodge, located at 12825 Ventura Boulevard in Studio City, Calif.
Scheduled speakers include Leslie’s friends Silvera, Jordan, Moore, AVN founder and president Paul Fishbein, director Paul Thomas, Evil Angel founder John Stagliano and former performer Richard Pacheco.
There also will be an open-mic portion of the service for those attendees wishing to share their remembrances of the iconoclastic performer, actor, director, musician, painter and all-around renaissance man.
Leslie, 65, passed away from an apparent heart attack on Dec. 5 at his home in Mill Valley, Calif.
A classic performer from the golden age of adult, Leslie also was an accomplished musician and artist, best known for such award-winning directorial efforts as Chameleons, Curse of the Catwoman, Dog Walker, The Voyeur series and Fresh Meat series.
Over his career, Leslie received 10 acting and directing awards from AVN, and several others from the X-Rated Critics Organization (XRCO), the Adult Film Association of America (AFAA) and the California Adult Film Association (CAFA), and was inducted into the AVN and XRCO Halls of Fame, as well as the Legends of Erotica.
As per his wishes Leslie will be cremated.
