RedBoard Video, the Bay Area fetish studio, which since 1985 has been distributing its own product, has turned over its nationwide domestic distribution to Florida-based Major Distributors.
Major will be distributing domestic wholesale, to stores and sub-distributors. RedBoard will still handle all sales to Websites.
“It’s a big change for RedBoard,” owner Duck Dumont told AVN.com. “We’re focusing on production, and on our website, and raising the quality of our releases.”
In early fall RedBoard is coming out with a new line, Spank n’ Sex, which features spanking plus hardcore sex.
“I’ve shot maybe a thousand adult pictures,” Dumont said, “maybe 400-500 fetish films, and this probably has the best d.p. I’ve ever seen, with Julie Night. Also an extraordinary anal scene with Monique, plus spanking.”
