RedBoard, the San Francisco-based BDSM studio, is teaming up with African-American adult star Monique for a new line called Sista Kink.
It is a general partnership deal with Monique getting part ownership of the product. She will star and co-produce. “RedBoard is giving me a lot of freedom and creativity,” she told AVN.com.
The first Sista Kink will go before the cameras next month and ship in June, DVD only.
RedBoard owner Duck Dumont told AVN.com that Monique “had never done S&M before, and she really liked it,” after watching some RedBoard videos he sent her and appearing in a couple of productions.
“It’s new ground,” Monique said. “It opened another door I’m not familiar with. I want to give it a try. It’s what I do best, which is bossing people around. I’ve always had a reputation of being dominant and demanding.”
“I am very excited about doing this with her,” Dumont said. “Since Kim Wylde started with RedBoard ten years ago, Monique is the first performer who has shown this kind of enthusiasm.”
The line will be strictly fetish, but according to Dumont, “Monique wants to push the boundaries a bit.” He said he’s going to give her a few pointers on whip technique and other S&M niceties, and then turn her loose.
“I have a few people in mind that I really want to beat the shit out of,” Monique said, laughing. “There’s a shortage of black mistresses, and I’m going to try to be the best bitchy mistress.”
Monique will continue to shoot her AVN-nominated series, Monique’s Sexaholics, for Heatwave. She goes into production with Vol. 4 next month, marking her one-year anniversary as a director. She said she also has some other projects in the works.
