Red Light District has signed adult performer Jean-Claude Batiste to a long term deal to perform and direct videos for its Platinum X label.
“Jean-Claude is a top-notch performer, good looking, a fine gentleman and we welcome him to what we expect to be a long, happy and productive future,” said Ralph Ceglia, Red Light District Distribution’s general manager.
Under the deal, Batiste will perform in 10 titles per year while directing one title per month for Platinum X. Other terms were not disclosed.
“I’ve been waiting for this chance for a long time and I think this is the right opportunity for me,”said Batiste, who was born in Cameroon and grew up in France.
“I’ve been watching Red Light since I started in porn and I know what they want and I think I’ll be able to explore my creativity here.”
His first title will be an interracial video with bondage themes, but it remains untitled. He added that it would be released in September.
“In my opinion, he is one of the very best male performers on the market at this time,” said Michael Stefano, an award-winning director with Red Light.
“He’s kinky, twisted and perverted and will reflect that in his Platinum X productions. In time, and (with) the influences of all our fine directors here, Jean-Claude Batiste will soon become a phenomenal director.”
Batiste is scheduled to make his performing debut for the label in The Candy Shop, set for release in August.
