In a display of multiculturalism, Channel 1 Releasing announced the signing of four new exclusives for its Rascal Video line. In addition to Johnny Hazzard and Eddie Stone, Rascal's exclusives now include Theo Blake, Cape Verdean native Tristan Bennett, Latino stunner Claudio Martin, and Asian industry-vet Brandon Lee.
"It's always been my goal in the industry," LaRue told AVN.com, "to have it very multi-ethnic. By signing these boys I hope to help promote that." Bennett, whom LaRue believes will bring a "much needed edge" to Rascal, was chosen for his stunningly "multi-cultural" good looks. "Martin," LaRue said, "is just a beautiful Latin boy, and I've always enjoyed working with Latin models. I wish there were more of them in the business."
LaRue remarked that he was elated to hear that super-endowed Lee was returning to XXX following a stint in the army. "There are so few Asians in our industry, and Brandon Lee has really set a standard in that genre. And when he came back, I wanted to scoop him up, because he's so beautiful."
Doug Jeffries, who currently directs for Channel 1's newest brand, Electro Video, commented on fourth new exclusive Blake. "When I met Theo, I knew that he was just what Rascal needed," Jeffries said. "With Eddie Stone you have the all-American jock look; with Johnny Hazzard you have the alternative, tattoo, rough look; and Theo is the blond, manly muscle-guy. I think that's the look that Rascal was missing."
LaRue's next project, an interracial title for Rascal Video, is tentatively titled Blacktion on the Down-Low.
