Rapid Mobile Launches Ad360

Mobile solutions company Rapid Mobile has announced the launch of its Ad360, a targeted mobile advertising platform. According to the company’s press release, Ad360 eliminates mobile application porting costs, prevents ad avoidance, and replaces perceived spam with intelligent, context-specific messages tailored to individual consumer’s needs and tastes.

Ad360 uses on-the-fly active provisioning of ultra-thin mobile software applications. The easily configurable, traceable, and adaptable advertising technology platform monetizes mobile content by the creation and management of mobile phone advertising campaigns, directly connecting brand owners with their target demographic.

"Right now, it’s not uncommon to read analysts’ reports predicting a mobile advertising market worth $10 billion or more by the end of the decade," said Chief Executive Officer Rickard M. Marshall. "Even if such predictions turn out to be 60-percent hype, millions of well-executed ads will have to be sensitively delivered onto a huge variety of mobile devices.
