The 2005 GAYVN Awards show will be held on March 10 at West Hollywood’s RAGE Nightclub, the third straight year that particular venue has been chosen for the annual show that recognizes the efforts of the gay adult industry.
“This is the third year in a row that the event will be at the RAGE Nightclub and each year the event continues to grow in program and participation,” Paul Fishbein, president of AVN, told AVN.com. “The industry deserves a dedicated social event recognizing them for their successes. With live entertainment, dinner, cocktails, networking and the awards show, the evening becomes the perfect forum for celebrating everyone’s hard work and achievements over the past year.”
This will also be the third straight year that Chi Chi LaRue will host the GAYVN Awards show. “This time of year makes me squeal with joy! The entire gay industry in one room and me at the helm again this year! Love it! It’s my pleasure to be hosting the awards show again! This stuff is fun,” stated LaRue.

Attendance at the event is by invitation-only. The event is limited to talent nominees and nominated studios and their guests.
"This will be a very exciting show," predicted GAYVN editor Doug Lawrence. "The studios have outdone themselves in the quality of their productions this year. The judges really have their work cut out for them. Add to this some program surprises, additional awards categories, and the excellent buffet and bar, and we're looking at the highlight of our three years at RAGE."
This year’s event will include: a buffet dinner, cocktails, gift bags, live entertainment and the awards show that will feature drag queen Jackie Beat, best known for her song parodies and as the vocalist for the electroclash band Dirty Sanchez, performing live.
The awards will be held at the RAGE Nightclub located at 8911 Santa Monica Boulevard. The show will take place on Thursday, March 10 beginning at 6:30 p.m.
