MONTREAL—Pure Taboo, Adult Time’s flagship brand for provocative, story-driven cinema, has announced an open casting call for its upcoming original feature The Bloodline, written and directed by Adult Time ambassador Seth Gamble.
"Set in a stark, post-collapse world where survival comes at a cost, The Bloodline explores power, choice and human connection inside a fortified compound governed by a strict generational doctrine," promotional materials describe. "When a group of women arrive seeking safety, they are faced with a system that offers protection—but demands something in return. The film blends psychological tension, character-driven storytelling and high-stakes sensual dynamics in what promises to be one of Pure Taboo’s most ambitious productions to date."
Key roles being cast are:
• Eli (The Patriarch): The eldest brother and strategic leader of the compound—calculated, controlled, and always thinking several steps ahead.
• Marcus (The Philosopher): A charismatic and articulate believer in the compound’s doctrine, skilled at shaping perception and guiding others.
• Braxton (The Controlled One): Quiet, observant, and emotionally restrained—until something begins to unravel beneath the surface.
• James (The Youngest): Reserved and deliberate, his silence speaks louder than words and creates intrigue around him.
• Dana (The Survivor): Strong-willed and guarded, Dana arrives by choice and challenges authority at every turn—until her perspective begins to shift.
• Miriam (The Loyalist): A long-standing member of the compound who embodies its values, carrying both authority and quiet internal conflict.
• Lotus (The Disruptor): Unpredictable and strategic, she enters the system on her own terms and begins to destabilize it from within.
• Simone (The Seeker): Open, eager, and emotionally driven, she quickly finds comfort within the compound’s structure.
• Carol (The Protector): A fiercely protective mother whose decisions are guided entirely by her daughter’s safety.
• Riley (The Daughter): Young, curious, and shaped by survival, she sees the compound with a sense of wonder rather than caution.
“The Bloodline is the kind of project that reminds me why I love this work. Deep characters, a world with real stakes, and a story that doesn’t take the easy way out," Gamble said. "I’m genuinely looking forward to meeting the performers who feel called to this one.”

Submissions are due by April 13, with shooting scheduled to take place in May in Los Angeles.
