MONTREAL—Adult Time banner Pure Taboo resurrects its acclaimed horror-erotica anthology Under the Bed with the official launch of season two, premiering today exclusively at AdultTime.com.
Developed by Adult Time chief creative officer Bree Mills, Under the Bed blends cinematic horror and psychological tension with intense adult performances, resulting in what the company touts as “modern horror television for adults that happens to have sex in it.”
The premiere episode of season two, "House of Silk," stars August Skye, Codey Steele and Josh Rivers. The episode was written and directed by Mills, and co-produced by Michael Vegas and Siouxsie Q. While the series' recent release “Manhood” signaled its return, that episode was a special release outside of the official second season lineup.
“Shooting this scene was absolutely amazing. It was like the equivalent of being on an A24 set,” said Skye. “And for my fans that know me the best, they know that I’m a HUGE horror fan. Hopefully I lived up to their expectations!”
Steele enthused, “This scene is pretty wild and unexpected. It was really awesome to see how much work went into the makeup and special effects for August’s transformation. I love working with Bree, Michael and Siouxsie and all of the crazy things they come up with. This scene is definitely one to watch.”
Rivers added, “Scenes like this one are a big reason why I got in this industry. Not only do I love sex, but I love acting. To have a crew like Bree, Michael and Siouxsie alongside Codey and August come together with this project ... it’s something that I don’t think anyone will be prepared for!”
Originally launched in 2019, Under the Bed quickly built a cult following with its first four episodes: “Within," “The Night They Came for Lacy,” “The Thing From the Lake” and “Fertile.”
