Last week director Ivan announced that he would once again be hosting donation drive at his annual birthday party. Here's a reminder: the party is tonight! Details are below.
On Thursday, March 24, director Ivan will celebrate another year and another "21st Birthday Bash" (his 25th) for the Puba co-owner and AVN 2016 Web Director of the Year. This event has become a yearly tradition: having a donation drive of sorts. This time, the group behind the PUBA Network, with some of the biggest porn stars in the land, is putting together a donation drive for victims of domestic violence.
The event will take place at Page 71 Lounge, 11916 Ventura Blvd., Studio City, CA 91604. The doors are open from 8 p.m. until 2 a.m. There is no red carpet but some media may attend.
Donations can be anything wrapped and new, with some suggestions being bath and body sets (lotions, make up, nail polish, stress relief or aromatherapy lotions, hair accessories), plus many sorts of home goods and supplies that would be helpful to someone who needs to start anew.
All the donations will be taken to a local charity the following day. It is free to get in but we encourage bringing donations. Since this is a working bar, you have to be 21 years or older to get in.
“I believe this issue doesn't get enough thought through," said Ivan. "It's easy to tell someone to move on. Move on where? And how? And with what? Many can't without help. These organizations are run by amazing people; what we are doing is nothing to what they do daily. We at least can put an effort out even with a small helping hand. Also any gifts brought for me, I will donate them. So please spend your money in the right place for the right person.”
Many of the adult industry’s top talent and producers have confirmed their attendance, so join us in a quiet get together for a very good cause.
Also, Steve from Bulldog Liquidators will be in attendance to celebrate his birthday with a truck full of donations. Come celebrate the Pazamanian Devil's birthday as well!
