Adult and mainstream consultancy ProfitLAB has launched an adult business and information site, ImpoverishedNoobs.com, and webmaster board, NoobsBoard.com, geared toward those just starting out in the business.
As ProfitLAB describes the venture, the sites are a place for pornographer hopefuls to get a foot in the door.
“Online porn business intelligence is extremely hot right now,” says ProfitLAB President Jack Mardack. “At ProfitLAB, we’re creating bridges of all types for our clients, which span between adult and mainstream. With ImpoverishedNOOBS.com and NoobsBoard.com, we’re expanding that idea to include the recent college grad or the professional coming from another field who is interested in a career in porn.”
Mardack started the venture by offering to tutor a number of youngsters via a thread on GFY. He says he has since received more than 700 emails.
The sites place an emphasis on the educational and networking aspects of the industry and are less of a shark tank than the established webmaster hangouts, according to Mardack.
“The big, established adult webmaster sites like GoFuckYourself.com are an integral part of the online adult biz, but they can be very intimidating to the noob who doesn’t know a soul in the room,” Mardack says.
Adult webmistress and writer Tala Kirby will serve as the chief operating officer of ImpoverishedNoobs.com.
