ProDx Health Adds to Advisory Board

MENLO PARK, Calif.—Industry testing provider ProDx Health has added Dr. Charlotte Gaydos to its advisory board.

As Professor Emerita of the Division of Infectious Diseases at Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Gaydos also is its former director of the Center for Point of Care (POC) STI Tests. She is also former world president of the International Union Against Sexually Transmitted Diseases (IUSTI), which conducted multiple FDA clinical trials for STI diagnostics and developed DNA amplification tests for STIs. Gaydos also has published more than 600 manuscripts and 31 book chapters and holds an MPH and DrPH from the Johns Hopkins' School of Public Health.

The Pro DX Health advisory board meets monthly “to provide scientific, industry and community guidance around testing, outreach and community needs,” a company representative said.

“We’re honored that Dr. Charlotte Gaydos has agreed to join our advisory board. Her work at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is monumental as director of a leading academic lab with a focus on STIs and respiratory infections. We welcome her brilliant, new insight, knowledge and experience to the advisory board,” said Dr. K, ProDx Health’s founder and CEO.
