LOS ANGELES—Wicked Pictures announced Thursday that principal photography has been completed on director Brad Armstrong and Wicked Girl Jessica Drake's latest drama Lost Love.
"This movie is an in-depth look at love and loss, with layers of nuance that only Brad Armstrong could have envisioned and brought to the screen," Drake said. "My character Sara is blindsided by the loss of her husband, played by Ryan Driller. As she navigates the aftermath, we witness her pain firsthand. This completely unapologetic look at grief, loss and the complexities of love brings us some of the most intense sex scenes in my career with some of the most talented performers in the industry. Wokring with Penny Pax was amazing, and the rest of the cast brought their acting A-game as well."
Added Armstrong, "Jessica, Penny Pax, Small Hands, Ryan Driller, Donnie Rock, Jessie Lee, Kira Noir and the rest of the cast all did an amazing job bringing the characters to life and making the story so believable."
In the same vein of Armstrong's 2015 AVN Best Drama Aftermath, Lost Love explores the theme of dealing with death, and promises what company press describes as a "stunning" finale. As Armstrong explains it, "Because of the story arc, there were key elements that needed to be incorporated intermittently thoughout the script. This became a bit tricky at times beacuse I didn't want to give too much away."
Noted Drake, "The cinematography evokes different emotions thoughout, so if you pay very close attention to the details you'll discover there's more to our characters than their words and actions. At times, this movie felt too intense, too painful, and too close to home, but with our great cast and crew, we brought all of those feelings to the screen for a chilling climactic ending. It wasn't easy to shoot, but it was a labor of love and I can't wait to share it."
"I love a good suprise ending," Armstrong concluded, "and I think people who like story-based erotica will really enjoy Lost Love."
Lost Love is scheduled for a Fall 2019 release.
