The owner of the rights to the “cop porn” that has become the latest porn crossover sensation is looking to take advantage of the unexpected attention by landing a brick-n-mortar distribution deal for Bus Stop Whores, the Web series that Reina Leone and Joe Friday were spotted performing in by someone who recognized they were police.
KTVU, San Francisco’s Fox affiliate, broke the story on Tuesday, May 25 that a man on the San Francisco Police Department and a female institutional officer with the San Francisco Sheriff’s Department were both under investigation for having appeared in an adult video.

According to KTVU, someone reported the couples’ extracurricular activities to the police last Friday.
By Wednesday, the San Francisco Chronicle was able to identify the porn name of the female in the video, Reina Leone, and the name of the video itself.
When Elvis Bertram of Goathouse Productions was sent a link to a story about two San Francisco cops who had performed in an adult video, he thought it was interesting. When he read that the cops had performed in Bus Stop Whores, an Internet series that he directed, his mouth dropped.
“I was dumbfounded. I was like ‘Oops!,’ I didn’t know if it was a good thing or a bad thing,” Bertram admitted. “I guess it’s a good thing.”
“As soon as they said they had been in Bus Stop Whores I realized who it was. I think I recognized her real name too, so that helped,” Bertram said.
“I was surprised to hear that they were cops, because he doesn’t look like a cop. Friday has a number of tattoos on his body, including one of Marvin the Martian on his shoulder.
“I‘m sure they didn’t tell me they were cops, but the guy did use the name Joe Friday, so maybe I could have figured it out,” Bertram said. “But I’m sure he didn’t say anything, because I probably would have freaked out.”
Joe Friday is, of course, the name of the detective from Dragnet, the classic cop television series.
Bertram was introduced to Leone and Friday by their mutual Webmaster. “He said that he had some people that wanted to do a scene, they needed some content. So we did a trade out,” Bertram said.
The cops were in the first video shot for the Bus Stop Whores series, on June 2, 2003. A 1-chip camera was used for that first title, though the majority of the titles in the series were shot with 3-chip cameras. The footage was shot in Los Angeles.
AVN Hall of Famer Buck Adams hosted the scene that Leone and Friday appeared in. “We drove around pretending to look for girls. We went around the block and saw her at a bus stop and he picked her up. It was actually kind of funny,” Bertram said.
“The footage we got was pretty good. She has great big monstrous boobs. We did some stuff in the car that was pretty good,” Bertram said. “And she really sold the pickup on the street. It was pretty amazing. It was very believable.”
Bertram isn’t sure when the scene went up on BusStopWhores.com, but the Website has been up for no longer than six months.
BusStopWhores.com is run by Net Management, the same people who run Traffic Cash Gold.
“I think they’re planning on updating the front page of the site to put some cop stuff up on the front page and they’re going to move this scene to the front page so its more prominent,” Bertram said.
Leone still has her job as an institutional officer working at the San Francisco General Hospital, and Friday still has his job as a police officer, though he has temporarily been placed behind a desk while the couple's extracurricular activities are investigated.
“We have 45 of these reality videos in the can, and we’re looking for DVD and video distribution because it’s really good stuff,” Bertram said. “We have fun, we talk to the camera, and it's great lighting.”
